Farewell Maryann's UWS
A staple in our restaurant rep closed unexpectedly a few months back. The Maryann's Mexican restaurant on the Upper West Side wasn't really remarkable -- it just had decent Mexican cuisine, margaritas, big bowls of fresh guacamole and plenty of memories from numerous trips with friends. There are still a few locations left in the City, but none as special as the one previously located at 91st and Broadway. Thanks for the good times and scary basement restrooms, Maryann's!

Good riddance! I never understood the attraction to that place! Viva Mama Mexico!
