A Normal Day in NYC

Law & Order is that quintessential New York television series with all of its shows filmed almost entirely in the City. After 14 years on the air, and multiple franchises of the show, its "ripped-from-the-headlines" crimes have been committed all over town, and often in locations other than what they say in the captions on the screen. But hmm, what does it mean when they are always filming it in your neighborhood (as they were again yesterday)?
